Medea Creek Middle School: Principal

Laurel Ford, principal at Medea Creek, holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of California at Los Angeles , as well as master's degrees in educational administration and educational psychology from California State University , Northridge. Ms. Ford has had a wide variety of teaching and administrative experiences in several districts at both the middle school and high school levels. She also teaches at Pepperdine University in the master's in education program. She is proud of the team that exists at Medea Creek Middle School and the commitment of the staff to providing an enriched learning environment to all students. The school has won many honors in its history, including the National Blue Ribbon Award for 1994-96 and the California Distinguished School Award in 1992, 1994, 1999, and 2005. Medea Creek Middle School has been a School to Watch-Taking Center Stage model school for three years.
